PDGIA Virtual Conference 2021

When we had to switch online, I knew I am not alone in feeling overwhelmed and wondered how I could achieve my course objectives. I knew that students were also stressed and likely demotivated to engage with their course material. I started exploring how to adapt my course design and delivery to cultivate an engaged learning community. I looked at literature to narrow down the components of learner-centered teaching and what impedes collaborative learning and, in this presentation, will share what worked well in my classes hoping other educators can benefit in their delivery.
