My name is Jasreen Grewal Kang and am passionate about reading, travelling and yoga. I completed my Masters in English and Masters in Education in the years 2005 and 2007 respectively. I have served as a Fulbright Fellow at University of California in Santa Barbara and had the opportunity of taking a few courses in the field of Applied Linguistics, Technology and Second Language Acquisition. I have also completed my Diploma in Teaching of English from English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad, India. I have been teaching in various capacities for the past 14 years. Currently, I am working with Yorkville University in the capacity of General Studies Instructor. As part of my roles and responsibilities, I have been teaching various courses such as University Studies, Creativity and Innovation, Human Geography, Cross-Cultural Communications. As an educator, I have found that my passion for (and commitment to teaching) have only grown with every passing year. With the ever-growing complexities of the current educational landscape, I like to broaden my perspective on latest trends in the teaching and learning process.
