Welcome to the PDGIA Conference!
My name is Manel Miaadi. I am the co-chair of the program committee and associate faculty at Yorkville University. I have a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature and a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics. And currently, I am a political sciences student at Wilfrid Laurier University. I have been working in the education field for over ten years. My positions included being an instructor, a program coordinator, a curriculum developer, and a school principal in different countries.
I am an interdisciplinary researcher with an extensive international experience and an interest in irregular migration and refugees’ studies. I worked with the National Democratic Institute (NDI) as well as with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) as a translator (English- Arabic- French) and a coordinator of the short and long-term international elections.
