Shubhayu Mookerjee holds Master of Science (Economics) and MBA degrees from Virginia Tech., in Blacksburg, VA, United States. He  received a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Economics from   the University of Calcutta, India, with a minor in Pure Mathematics. His  work experience in management consulting and economic consulting/marketing analytics spans   India, United States , Canada and U.K. Previous employers have included PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) India and Frost & Sullivan Inc. (New York City). At PwC, Shubhayu was involved in a major business restructuring consulting engagement funded by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (World bank);  his primary responsibility was conducting a techno-economic feasibility study of mining operations for a major public sector mining corporation in India. Other consulting projects involved active cross-functional integration with member firms of the global PwC network, including PwC US, PwC Australia, and PwC UK.  Currently, Shubhayu teaches Economics and Mathematics at several colleges/universities in the Vancouver area. Within the domain of economics, his academic interests are primarily in mathematical economics, quantitative foundations of economics, and microeconomic theory.
